Ooops!! Just realized I lit the menorah incorrectly, I lit one too many one night so The Father says to slow down and pay attention to Him.
If we live life without seeking Him and His will first, we will end up messing up, trying to do things how we think they should be done. This was a lesson for me that I need to double check with The Father first before going forward.
How many of us really seek God 1st before anything? Yes, I mean 1st before anything. That means seeking Him before a meeting, before making a decision, before talking about someone, before crying, before celebrating. "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33. What does that verse mean to you? Do you live for God? Do you breathe for Him? What does that even mean?
Are we just listening to the beat or melody of a song without listening or understanding the lyrics? "My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:2 How many times have you talked about Him outside of church this week?
You've been summoned. Engage. "Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "'Come out of her, my people,' so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;" Revelation 18:4 "As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them." Acts 13:2

Another Vegetarian Breakfast; Baked Grapefruit
Another Vegetarian Breakfast; Baked Grapefruit. Cut in half, take all the grapefruit out, mix in some white and brown sugar, put the grapefruit back into the skin, put some butter on top, bake for 5-10 min. until golden, and then I served it with grapes, a nice slice of cantaloupe, and some boysenberry jam on a buttered english muffin.

Full Circle Venice Church
This new religion called Full Circle already has a large following in the thousands! If it is under the guise of harmony & peace, it will sell. The enemy knows this and therefore shows himself as a false light.
"Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" Matthew 4:10
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!" Galatians 1:8

Is being Christian all rainbows and sunshine all the time?
Loving without expecting anything in return can be painful sometimes.
When someone disrespects, lies, hurts, and mocks you, just saying, "I love you" is what Yeshua has done for all of us.
"But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened."" 1 Peter 3:14
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:3
"Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at his word: "Your own people who hate you, and exclude you because of my name, have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy!' Yet they will be put to shame." Isaiah 66:5
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me." Matthew 5:9-11

What's more important than giving thanks on Thanksgiving?
Everyone knows Thanksgiving is next Thursday.
While everyone is talking about giving thanks this month,
some are forgetting the other main theme. This one just might be more important
than giving thanks.
What could be more important than giving thanks on
Thanksgiving? FOOD! How much money will you spend on the food that is to be
prepared (even if you go out to eat, like I do?) Who's bringing what for
Thanksgiving and can Aunt Martha make her special cheesecake again this year?
How much time will you spend talking about it, preparing it, dishing it out,
eating it, and then cleaning up after?
Yahweh has a lot to say about food too.
- “You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them." Genesis 6:21
- “They should collect all the food of these good years that are coming and store up the grain under the authority of Pharaoh, to be kept in the cities for food." Genesis 41:35
- “Joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities. In each city he put the food grown in the fields surrounding it." Genesis 41:48 (This reminds me of Revelations)
- “No, my lord," they answered. "Your servants have come to buy food." Genesis 42:10
- “We beg your pardon, our lord, " They said, "We came down here the first time to buy food." Genesis 43:20
- “Like wild donkeys in the desert, the poor go about their labor of foraging food; the wasteland provides food for their children." Job 24:5
- “Who provides food for the raven when it's young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?" Job 38:41
- “He gives food to every creature. His love endures forever." Psalm 136:25
- “Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest." Proverbs 6:8
- “An unplowed field produces food for the poor, but injustice sweeps it away." Proverbs 13:23
- “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval." John 6:27
- “You say, "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both." The body, however is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body." 1 Corinthians 6:13
- “But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that." 1 Timothy 6:8
- “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food." James 2:15
Amazingly, food is mentioned in the Bible 2,953 times! Now,
let’s think of these verses not in the literal sense but in the spiritual sense.
In Strong’s Greek 3131, manna is described as
the supernatural food eaten by the Israelites in the desert and the spiritual food. It also refers to what God provides to live in His preferred
will and in Arabic is defined as; to be kind, beneficent, to bestow
liberally, and a gift.
Strong’s Greek 5142 is trephó which means I feed, nourish; I bring up,
rear, and provide for. Also, it is defined as; properly, enlarge, fully develop because adequately nourished (fed); (figuratively) to bring (or experience) "personal enlargement," i.e. spiritual development from being properly fed (nourished, taken
care of). Brings a whole new meaning to the fatted calf being sacrificed
doesn’t it? Yeshua was the ultimate fatted calf, being completely matured spiritually,
fully developed and properly fed by The Father.
As we labor over food this
Thanksgiving, let’s remember that God needs us to feed the needy because in
doing so we are feeding Him. Make a couple extra plates and pass them out. Give
someone a few bucks. Pull over and pray with someone even if it’s freezing
outside because you know what? At least you have a warm home to go to and that
soul, who Yeshua died for, is trying to keep their toes and their nose warm. Every
time you pass them, you are passing God. That might as well be The Father
sitting there on the sidewalk cold and hungry. Is it happenstance that in
Arabic food means a gift?
What are you feeding God?
“But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no
law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with
its passions and desires.
If we live by the
Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful,
challenging one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:22
Remember
that this is some of the manna Yahweh has given you to nourish you while the
freeways are congested, children are screaming, and in-laws are judging. Do you
think it is coincidence that in Arabic manna means to be kind and one of the
fruits of the Spirit is kindness? Or that it also means to bestow liberally and
another one of the fruits of the Spirit is goodness? To develop spiritually,
one must practice patience, self-control (when deciding on another serving of
pecan pie), love, joy, peace, faithfulness, and gentleness.
So,
take in all that The Lord has to offer and get full on His manna and be trephó!

ATTENTION ATHEISTS "Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God." Psalm 50:22-23
Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice so that we may have eternal life with Him but what about when we want to live in righteousness?
We can't seem to be perfect. We are born in sin, iniquity, and wickedness.
Last night, I was thinking about how nothing I do is ever good enough for God. We can try and live without sin, but it's impossible and I find myself asking for forgiveness all the time.
This morning, God showed me Psalm 50 & Psalm 51. Within these chapters you will find, "But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have been a partaker with adulterers , you give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son. These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes." Psalm 50:16-21
God shows us what we have done wrong before Him and requires us to be honest about it.
"Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom." Psalm 51:6
So, the answer to this is: after we have sinned greatly, repented, and realized that everyday is a struggle, we can be comforted by God's salvation. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart-these, O God, You will not despise." Psalm 51:17
Praise belongs to Him!
