ATTENTION ATHEISTS "Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God." Psalm 50:22-23

Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice so that we may have eternal life with Him but what about when we want to live in righteousness?

We can't seem to be perfect. We are born in sin, iniquity, and wickedness.

Last night, I was thinking about how nothing I do is ever good enough for God. We can try and live without sin, but it's impossible and I find myself asking for forgiveness all the time.

This morning, God showed me Psalm 50 & Psalm 51. Within these chapters you will find, "But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have been a partaker with adulterers , you give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son. These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes." Psalm 50:16-21

God shows us what we have done wrong before Him and requires us to be honest about it.

"Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom." Psalm 51:6

So, the answer to this is: after we have sinned greatly, repented, and realized that everyday is a struggle, we can be comforted by God's salvation.  "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart-these, O God, You will not despise." Psalm 51:17

Praise belongs to Him!
