Is being Christian all rainbows and sunshine all the time?
Loving without expecting anything in return can be painful sometimes.
When someone disrespects, lies, hurts, and mocks you, just saying, "I love you" is what Yeshua has done for all of us.
"But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened."" 1 Peter 3:14
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:3
"Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at his word: "Your own people who hate you, and exclude you because of my name, have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy!' Yet they will be put to shame." Isaiah 66:5
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me." Matthew 5:9-11
