From my Bible study with the Holy Spirit: 9-10-16, Elul 14 2016, 1 Chronicles 17-22

From my Bible study with the Holy Spirit: 9-10-16, Elul 14 2016
1 Chronicles 17-22
1 Chronicles 17:4-17: The Lord is talking about Jesus not Solomon. Jesus is the seed of David whose Kingdom has been established forever. The Lord never told us to build Him a house because He wanted to go from tent to tent and from one tabernacle to another. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Lord tabernacles inside of us. We are His tent. We make up His house and His body.
This references 2 Samuel 7. The Lord tells David in 2 Samuel that if his seed sins, then the Lord will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows from the sons of men. The Lord uses others to chastise us so check your pride.
1 Chronicles 19:12-13: We should be doing what Abishai and Joab did. They worked together and had each other’s back. If one was in trouble then the other would come running when they were surrounded by the enemy.
1 Chronicles 21:14-30: Why do we thresh wheat? Is it to separate the wheat from the chaff? The wheat is beaten to remove what is not needed. Then it is sifted. When The Lord sent an angel to punish King David, He killed 70,000 men. David put himself at the mercy of the Lord because he would rather deal with The Lord than with men. King David told The Lord to hold him and his father’s house guilty instead of his sheep (this sounds a lot like Moses). Consequently, at the threshing floor, King David bought the threshing floor, meat, wood, and wheat to sacrifice to The Lord. He sacrificed to The Lord at the threshing floor because that’s where they all saw the angel of the Lord between Heaven and Earth. He was standing there between Heaven and Earth waiting for the Lord’s command after the Lord told Him to stop killing. So King David built an altar there at the threshing floor, and sacrificed to our Lord God of Israel. I find it interesting that when everyone saw the angel of the Lord between Heaven and Earth, Onan kept threshing wheat while his sons ran and hid.
If we have anything else other than a pure offering for the Lord, He will make sure that we are separated from the chaff or sin in our hearts. King David angered the Lord because he called for a census of Israel out of fear. The Bible says that Satan moved him so King David numbered Israel but ignored Levi and Benjamin.
When we do something out of fear, other people are affected by it. Also, as followers of Christ, others see how we react during trying times. We cannot be representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven and operate in fear at the same time. Jesus Christ doesn’t give us a spirit of fear. He bought and paid for your life and sacrificed His so we can be free from fear. Jesus Christ was the seed of King David. I’d say that the Lord really did visit King David’s iniquity on his house. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price on the threshing floor. He was beaten and by His stripes we are healed.
1 Chronicles 22:3-4: Was Jesus Christ hung on a cross made of cedar wood? Right after sacrificing to God on the threshing floor, King David gets iron for the nails to the doors and joints, cedar wood, and bronze for the temple of YHWH. Was the temple of YHWH built on the threshing floor? Jesus Christ was and is the true temple of YHWH. “Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”” John 2:19
When I first started to read the Bible, before I was sealed with the Holy Spirit, about 9 years ago, I couldn’t read it. It was too violent for me. I would go and watch scary, violent, bloody movies, but when it came to the Word of God, I couldn’t understand why there would be so much war. In 1 Chronicles 22:8 we see just how much God does not delight in bloodshed. It is humanity that communicates through bloodshed. The Lord didn’t want King David to build Him a temple because King David had shed too much blood. King Solomon was a better fit because he was a King of rest and peace. God is telling us what He delights in right here. He is peace and comfort, not war and bloodshed. However, peace doesn’t come without war. There would have been no rest from our enemies if we wouldn’t have fought with the Lord our God on our side.
1 Chronicles 22:13: Obey the Lord’s commands, statutes, and judgments which the Lord gave Moses and you will prosper. Do not fear nor be dismayed. Be strong and of good courage in order to obey the Lord’s statutes that He gave Moses. This is still pertinent today. The prophets of the Bible all lamented that Israel had stopped obeying the Lord’s commands. Jesus Christ tells us the the prophets talked about Him. Since we know that Jesus Christ is the Word of the Lord made flesh, we also know that Jesus Christ obeyed His Father’s commands that He gave to Moses. Easter eggs are not in the Bible but Christmas trees are. Jeremiah talks about how the Christmas trees are an abomination to the Lord our God. Some people call themselves followers of Christ and they put Santa on top of their pagan tree. Having pictures and things of angels isn’t good either. There have been many false prophets and false teachers sent into the world. Make sure that you are doing exactly what Jesus Christ did. Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread to remember Him. ““Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it will not topple.” Jeremiah 10:3-4 Don’t you think it’s interesting that the world has you convinced that Babylonian practices from before Christ are connected to the Lord God Almighty? God tells us over and over not to do what they do. He gives us our own feasts and they all revolve around him. There is no confusing Easter eggs with Jesus Christ because the Feast of Unleavened Bread is all about Him. Do the opposite of what this world does. There is no excuse.

This Church Does What No One Else Does!!!!!!!!

Yahweh Ministries goes house to house and town to town just like Jesus and His disciples did, before and after His crucifixion. Yahweh Ministries states that this is what God intended for church to be all along. They broke bread in each other's homes and Jesus is calling us back to doing Bible things in Bible ways.

Sin in churches today has gotten out of hand. Not to mention, there's no real connection. Everyone is a stranger to everyone else with no accountability. Jesus's last prayer before He was crucified was for us to be one as He is One with the Father. How can we love with brotherly love when we are all strangers? The disciples spent years together. They found solutions to problems, gently rebuked each other, and traveled preaching the gospel together.

Paul's letters to the different churches were always filled with disappointment because the churches couldn't seem to get things right. They stayed in the same town and gathered in one place. We are only supposed to tarry until we have received power from on High. Have you received the Holy Spirit? John 10:27 says that the sheep know HIS voice. Have you heard Him?

You don't have to be a missionary and go to Africa or the Middle East to do what God has called all of us to do. Start in your neighborhood.

How To Love God With Half of Your Heart

Loving God With Half Of Your Heart

I’ve heard that Jesus died on the cross because we can’t keep HIS commands. The greatest command is to love the LORD with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength (Deut. 6:5). When people say that Jesus died so we don’t have to follow HIS law anymore, they are saying that we don’t have to love HIM with all our hearts. They say the law was fulfilled by HIS sacrifice. The only part of the law that Jesus fulfilled was the part where it delivers us from death. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). We have now been given eternal life and that means that we will be resurrected from the grave as Jesus was resurrected from the grave (Romans 6:5). I’ve heard that we don’t have to observe the LORD’s feasts because Jesus fulfilled the law. When you love the LORD with all your heart, you observe The Feast of Unleavened Bread which has everything to do with Christ instead of Easter which has everything to do with Paganism. You can’t fit a square peg into a round hole. It just doesn’t fit. You can’t worship the God of Israel however you want. The Bible is HIS instructions that we are supposed to follow. If you follow Jesus Christ then you do what HE did (1 John 2:6).
“These people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:8-9
The LORD spoke to me about HIS people worshipping HIM with only half of their hearts. Psalm 103 is about blessing the LORD with everything you have because of HIS mercies, HIS power, HIS greatness, HIS covenant, and HIS statutes.
Psalm 103:10 “He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.”

Psalm 66 is about giving to the LORD because of HIS mercy when we are put through the fire, when HE tests us with fire, when we suffer, when we are afflicted, and when we are in trouble. Our gratitude is sky high when HE delivers us and has mercy on us. You can’t live your life giving only half of your heart to the LORD. You can’t have your fun, do whatever you want to do, worship HIM however you see fit to worship HIM, and you can’t give the LORD whatever is left over.

The LORD will speak to us through personal experiences. He has a heart to heart talk with us. One way we learn is to actually walk it out whether it takes months or even years to understand. I told the LORD that if HE lets me marry this man whom I love, then I will do whatever HE wants me to do. I am going through heartbreak and I've been praying and fasting for over a year now for this one thing. It is so painful because the LORD is showing me how HE feels when HIS children treat HIM a certain way. They don't talk to HIM, they ignore HIM, and they only talk to HIM when they want something. HIS love for us is a kind of passion that we have never known, no matter how much we love someone, he loves us MORE! Even so, HIS children would rather be distant. Those people will be destroyed. Furthermore, because I sinned with this man, the LORD has shown me how HE treats those who sin against HIM. We kissed, held hands, and made out late one night and since then I have been learning how the LORD cuts off those who disobey HIM. When they do not turn from their evil ways, they are cast away. The LORD does not hear them. HE isn’t going to wait forever for you to repent. There will be a day when HE says to those who are disobedient to depart from HIM. HE will not know them because they didn’t follow HIS law (Matthew 7:23). However, I have faith that my prayers and my fastings have been heard as I have repented from the evil that I committed. Impurity is the same as death. HE has made me clean and my actions have not gone unpunished. During this suffering, the fruits of the Spirit are being cultivated inside of me: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, and Faithfulness. I am learning to endure and to persevere.

Isaiah 66 is important because it talks about what will happen to those who half-heartedly worship the LORD. The following is what I gathered from it. The LORD’s judgment brings horror to all mankind. We see their dead bodies. All mankind will worship the LORD from Sabbath to Sabbath and from New Moon to New Moon. The Christian churches do not do this yet. We are HIS priests and Levites. The LORD will send those who survive to the places that have not heard of HIS fame or seen HIS glory. Those who follow pastors and leaders, not obeying God’s law and eating pigs and other unclean animals will be destroyed. HIS fire will be poured out on HIS enemies like never before. Jerusalem will comfort us. We are little babies that will be breastfed at the breast of Jerusalem, the Holy City, the Bride of Christ.
We will flourish and grow like the grass. Those who say that they want to see your joy when you glorify the LORD will be put to shame because of the LORD’s wrath. Glorifying the LORD doesn’t always bring smiles. There is suffering involved. These are the churches who preach hyper-grace and have kicked me out for dancing with worship flags. The LORD is not in them. They only preach what you want to hear. The LORD’s enemies ignore HIM, they don’t talk to HIM, and they only go to HIM when they want something. They don’t do what the LORD wants them to do, so HE chooses their punishment. The enemies of the LORD worship HIM however, they want to worship HIM instead of doing what the LORD delights in. An example of this would be the Hebrew Roots movement when they preach on Torah Portions instead of what the Holy Spirit is saying to them. They practice Jewish traditions instead of walking in the Spirit. This is what has caused some who were in the Hebrew Roots movement to convert to Judaism. Isaiah 66 talks about those who exalt animals instead of giving what is required and burning incense to God as if HE is an idol. Be humble, submissive in spirit, and tremble at HIS word. HE made all things and by HIS hand everything came into being. HE created existence. What house, what temple, what place can the LORD dwell in when the Earth is HIS footstool? Heaven is HIS throne.

Consequences

Consequences

Most Christians think that as soon as they call upon the name of Jesus Christ, there isn’t any consequences for the evil things they have done. We are saved from the death that breaking the law brings because we no longer break the law of God but obey Him because He pierced our hearts with eternal life. How can you thank Him enough? Christians are going through things and they have no idea why. Someone I know almost died from a brain aneurysm that had a 90% chance of exploding.
The mercy of God allowed her to get into a car accident and consequently go to the doctor for a check-up. That’s when they found it. She also had a brain fistula. Needless to say, she wasn’t in good shape and she could go at any moment. She was literally a walking ticking time bomb. When I prayed and fasted for her to be healed supernaturally, Jesus Christ visited me in a vision and told me that she had done some evil things in her life and therefore Jesus wasn't going to heal her supernaturally.
Whether we like it or not, there are consequences for our actions, even if we claim to be followers of Jesus Christ. The truth is, many are still sinning.
“But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:” Deuteronomy 28:15
God curses us when we disobey Him, whether we call ourselves Christian or not.
One of my consequences for my actions is being alienated from my children. Being estranged from your children is actually a curse listed in the Bible for disobeying. I have accepted my punishment for being Atheist. I attempted to alienate God from His children and He alienated me from mine.
It took me years to understand it. It wasn’t until I had been sealed with the Holy Spirit for almost 2 years that I finally understood. At that time, I had been estranged from my children for 7 years.
“Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.” Deuteronomy 28:32
“Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.” Deuteronomy 28:41
When the children of God, the children of Israel, the bride of Christ, Jerusalem becomes unclean, God cleanses her/us. How does the Good Father treat His rebellious and wicked children? Lamentations agrees with Deuteronomy in that Zion/Jerusalem becomes lonely and desolate for their disobedience. The writer of Lamentations pleads with the reader to hear what happened to him when he disobeyed God.
“The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.” Lamentations 1:18
If you return to the Lord your God today, with all your heart, soul, and strength, realizing that love is obedience to God, then this is what Jesus Christ says He will do:
“And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30

In 1 Corinthians, the church thought that they could sleep with their step-parents, worship at the Greek temple, and sleep with prostitutes because Jesus Christ died for all their sins. They were under God’s grace now. They thought that that Jesus Christ nailed God’s law up on the cross when He died. Paul responds by saying that they were completely and utterly wrong. They couldn’t have been more incorrect. Paul went on to explain that our bodies no longer belong to us but to Christ.
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19
Even our private parts are instruments of righteousness.
“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” Romans 6:13

In terms of idolatry, most Christians think that just because they go to a Christian church that they don’t participate in idolatry. It can still be idolatry even if it isn’t a carved image. 1 Samuel 15:23 describes idolatry as being stubborn in not obeying God and Colossians 3:5 explains how giving in to our earthly nature is also idolatry.
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:” Colossians 3:5

Concupiscence means to have a strong sexual desire or lust. No one said it was easy. Do you think it was easy when Jesus Christ crucified His flesh? If you are around people who don’t have the Holy Spirit, it will be difficult for you to remain righteous if you are a new born. Unless you are preaching the gospel to the unsaved, I wouldn’t recommend being friends with anyone who lives in sin. They shouldn’t want to be friends with you anyway because you can’t stop talking about the God of Israel.

Read Scripture Series: Paul's 1st Letter to the Corinthians

This is an awesome way to learn about 1 Cor. It keeps you entertained and explains it thoroughly.
